Every minute of every day, hospital medical equipment saves people’s lives all over the world. At the beginning of the last century, life expectancy was barely to middle age. And if you go back hundreds of years, living to 40 was quite a feat. Today, the average life expectancy, although 63 years old worldwide, is closer to 80 years old in the United States and Japan, with many people living into their 90s and 100s. Many years ago, people were not able to live in the cleanliness we have today, and they didn’t have access to different types of healthy foods, modern therapeutic techniques and medications and most hospital medical equipment was sub-standard. Today, the tide has turned.
